So.

..there has been a big debate over soy throughout the past decade or so.  Is it good for you or not good for you?  When my Mom had breast cancer 8 years ago they told her not to drink soy because of the estrogen in it...I have been telling women not to drink it for years now because of that and have refrained myself.  The other day an oncologist came in and ordered a soy latte, so I asked her.  She said now they are saying that its a different kind of estrogen and could actually protect from cancer.  Everything in moderation she said...imagine that.  I leave these things up to you to research for yourself, but, if I once told you not to drink soy because of the risk, I may have been wrong

I just want to take a moment to write a little note about Steve Jobs passing.  What an impact he made on our world. 

He was a pioneer and even in the face of death he continued his quest.  He said it was easier to pursue his goals because he wasn't afraid of failure.  I've heard the cliche before...live each day like its your last, but, we don't really, we don't think about that, unless of course we are staring in the face. 

What an incredible man, we are thinking of him and his family.

Tomorrow when I have my cup of java I will toast to Steve and his incredibly innovative mind, he was a true genius.

So today, Thursday September 29th is National Coffee Day...I'm not exactly sure how I feel about that...don't we celebrate coffee everyday! I know I do, and our customers do too. So, today, have an extra cup! Sit and think about how magnificent and great coffee is, think about the nostalgia and tradition of it, and how sad you would be if you didn't have your coffee ;)
